Don Hart (CEO)

Biological Farming & Soil Fertility Consultant
Mobile: 027 432 0187

Originally a farmer from Waimate, South Canterbury purchased the home farm Springfield Estate in 1985. Don has always been one to drive production and strives for the best, found himself applying more and more N, P, & K only to find that the yields remained very much the same.

Don set out on his journey to increase his production and he found the Albreicht System at an Acres USA conference 1993. He come home thinking this is too good to be true! Since then he has applied this approach on his home farm and has travelled the world continuously learning from experts like Neal Kinsey – Albrecht Consultant.

The home farm has made tremendous gains on what it was producing and often out competes other farms. He has proven the theory’s learnt on trial farms and his clients farms, with a range of managers over a range of seasons finding that the system is more profitable and sustainable than the conventional synthetic N, P, & K approach.

Don is passionate about regenerative farming with the use of the natures biology and fertilisers that help the biology and plant thrive, resulting in a very environmentally friendly, high quality and high yielding crop and animal products.
